Plotagon Production AB (“Plotagon”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you use our services, including:
- The Plotagon website (www.plotagon.com)
- Our Applications - Plotagon Story, Plotagon Studio (Mobile and Desktop), and related services (collectively, the “Services”)

PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
Depending on how you use the Service and what plan you sign up for, we may process the following personal data:
Voluntarily provided by you: Information provided when communicating with us by email, web forms, or contact us by mail or other offline means. Payment info provided to our third-party payment service providers during a purchase.
Automatically collected: Device type/OS/version, IP address, general location (country/region/city), browser type, usage metadata, cookies/logs data, connection type (e.g., WiFi), timestamp, OS language.
From third parties: Redacted pyment data from payment providers; info from partners/social media (where applicable).
Children's personal data: To use the Service you have to be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect or process any personal data of children.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We process data to:
- Provide and operate the Services (contract performance)
- Offer customer support (contract + legitimate interest)
- Improve/maintain the Services and develop features (legitimate interest)
- Handle payments/accounting (contract + legal obligations)
- Perform business operations, analytics, fraud prevention (legitimate interest)
- Communicate updates, features, surveys (legitimate interest)
- Protect rights, safety, and security (legitimate interest)
Legal Basis: primarily performance of contract, legitimate interests (e.g., improvements, security), and legal obligations.
HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We do not sell or share any personal data about you to or with any person or organization except (a) as authorized by you (e.g. in relation to user generated content), (b) as set forth in the relevant portion of the Services or in any agreement between us, (c) in connection with providing various products or Services to you, either directly or through one or more third parties (such as cloud based storage partners and payment partners), (d) as may be required by law or court order, or (e) as otherwise set forth herein.
STORAGE DURATION
We retain data as long as necessary to provide Services, comply with laws, resolve disputes, or conduct business. Specific periods available on request.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Data is mainly processed in the EU but may transfer elsewhere. We use EU-approved mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and additional safeguards for adequate protection.

YOUR RIGHTS
You have GDPR rights including: access, rectification, erasure/restriction, objection (to legitimate interest processing), portability, and non-discrimination. For all our services: up to 2 free requests per 12 months; response within 30 days (extendable). Exercise rights or complain via email above, or to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY.se) or your local authority.
SECURITY
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage. Your personal data is stored in a secure manner on protected equipment. For example your data is protected with encryption, such as Transport Layer Security (TLS), during transition over the Internet. Only a limited number of personnel have access to our equipment and only persons with a legitimate reason have access to your personal data. Unfortunately, the transmission of your personal data via the internet is not completely secure. While we will endeavor (through the use of appropriate security measures) to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of such data when it is transmitted to us via the internet. We also ensure that our third-party data center vendors provide adequate security measures.
CHANGES AND UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
Occasionally we may, in our discretion, make changes to the Privacy Policy. If we make material changes to the Privacy Policy, we will provide you with prominent notice as appropriate under the circumstances.
